My New Toy

Then, she decided she had had enough with the pictures. She gave me the "go AWAY" face, so I let her be.
Fortunately, my husband took me around Frisco so I could take pictures with my new camera. This was his favorite one (he loves cars).

Thursday, June 26, 2008My New ToyI got a new toy a few days ago...A CANON 5D! I am sooooo excited about it. I have been taking pictures non-stop. The only problem is that my husband hates to have his picture taken (yeah, he married the wrong woman for that). Unfortunately, since we have no children, my only other photogenic subject is my dog, Mimi. She was really laid back about the camera (flash and all) for the first 100 pictures....

Thursday, May 29, 2008Christen & Chris's WeddingChristen and Chris had a beautiful wedding and reception! Their reception was in the newly remodeled Stoneleigh Hotel in downtown Dallas. It is absolutely beautiful! Christen had 2 veils. I loved the second one she had. It was an old-fashioned short veil that just covered her face. Labels: Weddings Posted by Melissa | permalink

Tuesday, May 20, 2008Kim & Mark's WeddingThis past weekend I photographed Kim & Mark's wedding. It was a very small ceremony and reception held in her church. The two of them are so in love. You can tell just by the way they look at each other! Labels: Weddings Posted by Melissa | permalink

Tuesday, April 29, 2008Alicia & Jim's WeddingThis past weekend, Amy and I shot Alicia and Jim's wedding at the Dallas Arboretum. I really love shooting weddings at the Arboretum! How can you go wrong with that many beautiful flowers? Alicia and Jim are so in love. While they were saying their vows, they couldn't stop smiling and gazing at each other. That is why I just LOVE weddings! Labels: Weddings Posted by Melissa | permalink

Monday, April 14, 2008Kristi & Jordan's AnniversaryMy sister (Kristi) and her husband (Jordan) went with me and my husband (Joe) to visit our grandparents this past weekend. Kristi and Jordan have lost over 80 lbs. between the two of them in the past year on Weight Watchers! Their 3rd anniversary is coming up soon, and they wanted some updated pictures. So, while we were all together I told them I would be happy to help with that! I loved taking pictures of them together, because Kristi is always so much more relaxed around Jordan. The chicken picture is probably my favorite just because you can really tell how happy they both are. Labels: Kids and Family Posted by Melissa | permalink
