The Pulley Family Portraits

My friend asked me to take some photographs of her beautiful family. Her two daughters are just gorgeous, and so photogenic. I love taking pictures of children because they are so unaware of the camera. It allows me to get some great photojournalistic shots of them playing (which I love)! Here are some of my favorites.

Ariel & Stephen's Wedding

Ariel and Stephen had their reception at the beautiful McKinney Cotton Mill. I love the outside of the Cotton Mill because it has such character. It is a perfect place for romantic photos.

Meet Katie

As some of you may know, I volunteer for a boxer dog rescue in DFW called NorCal Boxer Rescue. I mainly keep up some of the website, our petfinder updates and I also do landlord, vet and home checks. Yesterday, we received an urgent call from a shelter about a beautiful boxer girl. She only had 1 hour to live and needed our help. So, Joe and I agreed to foster her for a few weeks until she finds a more permanent foster home.

Katie is such a good girl. She is about 4-5 years old and very underweight. She is good with all people (including children) and she has been a joy to have around the last few days.

Without further ado, here is Katie.

Christy & Carlos' Wedding

Christy and Carlos had a beautiful wedding and reception. They were both overflowing with happiness and love. It was contagious. The dancing went well into the night! It was a great party!

My New Toy

I got a new toy a few days ago...A CANON 5D! I am sooooo excited about it. I have been taking pictures non-stop. The only problem is that my husband hates to have his picture taken (yeah, he married the wrong woman for that). Unfortunately, since we have no children, my only other photogenic subject is my dog, Mimi. She was really laid back about the camera (flash and all) for the first 100 pictures....





Then, she decided she had had enough with the pictures. She gave me the "go AWAY" face, so I let her be.






Fortunately, my husband took me around Frisco so I could take pictures with my new camera. This was his favorite one (he loves cars).

Roques Ann & Will's Wedding

Roques Ann and Will were so much fun to photograph! They are so natural in front of the camera. They are so cute together too! I LOVE photographing weddings!

Christen & Chris's Wedding

Christen and Chris had a beautiful wedding and reception! Their reception was in the newly remodeled Stoneleigh Hotel in downtown Dallas. It is absolutely beautiful! Christen had 2 veils. I loved the second one she had. It was an old-fashioned short veil that just covered her face.
